Fitzy's taste for politics

Fitzy is tempted to get more involved in politics after returning from the Haltemprice and Howden by-election, where he had to contend with some 24 other candidates.

'The election process was like a holiday' he said. 'I really enjoyed it; it's been a laugh from beginning to end. It was nice to have a pleasant couple of weeks away'.

For his next political move, he is considering joining the Labour Party, especially now that Tony Blair has left. 'I had a problem with Tony Blair', he told the Northampton Chronicle & Echo. 'I do enjoy politics; I get a buzz out of it. I'm Labour at heart. I wouldn't mind joining the Labour Party'.

'I like to help the little man, the shopkeeper, trader, and small businessman. I like to see a fair deal for everyone, not have the big supermarkets come along and monopolise trade'.
